ROAD SLOPE DESIGN

The presented concept of the new design of road junctions in the city of Ashgabat is intended to decorate the road slopes, while preserving the traditional symbols and cultural features of Turkmenistan.
We propose to decorate the slopes of road junctions with white polished marble slabs. The slabs create an image of mirages and a desert, which reflects the local nature and climate, and also resemble the pages of an open book - Rukhmana, the main book of the Turkmen people. A book facing the sun is a source of light and wisdom.
During the daytime, due to this arrangement of the slabs, an interesting light and shadow will be created, imitating the pages of the book of Rukhmana, and in the evening and at night, we propose to use built-in dynamic lighting located along the path of cars.
